01 · Scope
Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy applies to zenitori.com and the guide pages published under that domain (collectively, “Zenitori,” “the site,” “we,” or “us”). Zenitori is an independent editorial site operated from Japan for readers interested in Japanese-inspired living and seasonal craft ideas.
This policy does not govern Amazon.com, Pinterest, a hosting company, or any other third-party website or service. Those organizations control their own processing and publish their own privacy terms.
02 · Technical data
Information processed when you visit
Like most websites, Zenitori must be delivered through a web server. The hosting provider may automatically process standard technical access-log information when your browser requests a page. Depending on the provider's configuration, this may include:

The current site does not provide or use:
- visitor accounts, profiles, registrations, or sign-in features;
- contact forms, comments, newsletters, surveys, or user uploads;
- on-site checkout, payment processing, or order fulfillment;
- analytics platforms, advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or Amazon oneTag;
- embedded video, social-media widgets, or third-party product embeds; or
- site-set cookies, browser local storage, or session storage.
Please do not send sensitive personal information to Zenitori through an address or channel not expressly provided for that purpose.
04 · Search
How the guide search works
The guide search on Zenitori's home page filters the titles and descriptions already loaded in your browser. Search words are not submitted to Zenitori, stored in a database, or sent to an analytics provider. Reloading or leaving the page clears the search.
05 · External destinations
Amazon affiliate links and other external websites
Some guide pages contain paid affiliate links to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. An affiliate identifier in a link allows Amazon to attribute eligible activity to Zenitori under the Associates Program.
When you choose an external link, your browser leaves Zenitori. Amazon or another destination may then collect information, use cookies or similar technologies, and process your activity under its own terms. Zenitori does not control that processing.

06 · Cookies
Cookies and similar technologies
Zenitori does not currently set cookies or use pixels, software development kits, browser local storage, or comparable tracking technologies. For that reason, Zenitori does not currently display a cookie-consent banner.
This statement applies only while you are on Zenitori. If you follow a link to Amazon, Pinterest, or another site, that service may use its own cookies or identifiers. You can manage cookies through your browser and through the preference tools offered by the relevant external service.
Future changes: This policy and any required consent controls will be updated before Zenitori adds analytics, Amazon oneTag, advertising pixels, embedded content, or other non-essential tracking technology.

How technical information may be used
Standard server information may be processed only as reasonably necessary to:
- deliver the page or file requested by your browser;
- keep the site available, stable, and secure;
- diagnose errors and technical problems;
- prevent fraud, abuse, or attacks; and
- comply with applicable law or respond to a valid legal request.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, this processing is based on Zenitori's legitimate interest in operating and protecting a basic informational website, and on compliance with legal obligations where relevant.

Sharing, sale, and behavioral advertising
Zenitori does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Zenitori does not provide visitor data to data brokers or advertising networks.
Limited technical information may be available to:
- the hosting and infrastructure provider that serves and secures the website; and
- public authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or site security.
Following an external link is a separate interaction with the destination website and is not a sale of your personal information by Zenitori.
09 · Retention
Retention and security
Zenitori does not maintain a visitor-account database, mailing list, form-submission database, or analytics profile. Standard server logs may be retained by the hosting provider for the period reasonably needed for operations, security, troubleshooting, and legal obligations, then deleted or overwritten under the provider's practices.
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used for the site, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10 · Location
International processing
Zenitori is operated from Japan and is accessible internationally. Technical information may be processed in Japan or in other countries where the hosting or infrastructure provider operates. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws in your place of residence.
11 · Children
Children's privacy
Zenitori is a general-audience editorial site and is not directed to children under 13. The site does not knowingly request or collect personal information from children. If features that collect information are introduced in the future, this section will be updated before those features are published.
12 · Your choices
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to personal information, such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or appeal. Because Zenitori does not currently collect information through accounts, forms, analytics, or advertising trackers, it generally has no visitor profile or submitted record to access, correct, or delete.
You may use browser privacy controls to limit cookies on external websites. Requests about information collected by Amazon, Pinterest, or another external service should be directed to that service using the contact and rights procedures in its privacy notice.
A working privacy contact method and request procedure will be added here before Zenitori begins collecting personal information directly through a form, account, subscription, or similar feature.

Changes to this policy
Zenitori may revise this policy when the site, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when a revised version is published. Material changes will be made before the affected feature is used where advance notice or consent is required.
